This project consists in the animation of a logo in 3D. We chose to use the National Geographic logo for the multiple variations possibilities that it inspired us, thanks to the countless themes the channel talks about but also thanks to the transition from paper to digital and the renewal it implies.
We chose three main National Geographic themes: science (technologies), human (History) and nature (elements).
We story-boarded three animations, but actually made only the one that seemed the most relevant to us.
The modeling and animating parts were done on 3DS MAX, and the cloudy background, various effects and color corrections were then added in post-production with After Effects.
